yeah, i don't mind horror/grimdark stuff but i've played so much of it over the past few years that i'm just really turned of by it at the moment. i want a change, maybe something that has some dark elements but isn't doom and gloom all the time. i feel like i've just played out horror and want something more lighthearted now.

it's kind of sad that there doesn't seem to be much variety in terms of game types. even though there were a lot of bad things about the lj era, i feel like there was at least a better selection of things to play in if you didn't like a certain genre.

i hear you. i'm in each myself because it's one of the non-pure sol types out there that's not space/horror. i would love to see more fantasy based games. (i'm still keeping my fingers crossed for either a forgotten realms or valdemar based game) but it would be nice to have options. even just something lighter and maybe sillier, but not just sol.
