rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Bonus: Anyone new you're particularly liking on the intro log?

so someone brought up the idea of doing a tvtropes page for empatheias on plurk! thoughts?

Nnn. TV tropes pages can be funny but the roleplay ones always seem either bland or in-jokey to me.

Also tropes being misapplied is definitely a thing: I've seen tropes applied to events in wiki pages that didn't quite fit or ran counter to the players' intentions in those events. (For example an old event being labeled as "Narm" when it had never been intended as serious by the players.)

It might be nice as giving people a general idea what Empatheias is like in terms of setting/plot/vibe, but I'd say keep it short and sweet and don't go too much into individual player plots/characters.
