¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

if you want to be healthy the most important thing you need to think about is variety. if you can (and i know some people can't), try not to eat the same things day in and day out, even if those things are healthy. mix it up! broccoli on monday, zucchini on tuesday, and tomatoes on wednesday is so much better for you than broccoli 3 days in a row. that doesn't mean broccoli is bad for you.

it's also okay to eat unhealthy things sometimes. just don't make it the staple of your diet. a bag of chips or a pint of ice cream once in a while is not going to kill you.

why do you faggots post this shit here

(Anonymous) 2015-07-21 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Is this Tumblr shit?

a bag of chips or a pint of ice cream

Who eats a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting? Disgusting.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-21 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
you could say the same about a bag of chips. if someone can sit down for a pint of beer, i think a pint of ice cream isn't entirely out of the question. i think you're also mistaking a pint for some of the larger containers.

and even if you're not, no one cares about your views on how much ice cream is acceptable in a sitting.

A pint of beer has 250 calories. A pint of Cherry Garcia has 960 calories. That's piggish.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
you realize that it's about size, not calories, right? not everyone gives a shit about the precise amount of calories they consume. chances are, if you're having a pint of beer, you're likely having two, three, four, or however many you have. you're only going to have one pint of ice cream. and frankly, a lot of people never finish a pint. they chip away at it. just like a bag of chips.

so how about you take your calorie counting and shove it up your ass?

i can practically hear you snuffing and chortling fatly behind the screen

newsflash; not all healthy and fit people give a shit about calories. watch it. learn it. love it.

please do not try to lecture people on health if you have/have had an eating disorder

your entire concept as far as how that relates to food is irreparably warped

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
again with the projection

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
everyone in this thread is a fatass

now all of you shut the fuck up

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
da but a pint usually has FOUR SERVINGS in it. so not, it's not healthy. a serving (maybe two) is considered what is "normal" or within the bounds of not being unhealthy.

that being said, sugar, fat, and carbs are much higher than in a serving of most chips. neither are particularly healthy for you and a serving or two of each more than once a week isn't going to kill anyone and isn't necessarily bad for you. i quit both cold turkey because i knew i couldn't stop at one serving.

it's all about limitations. don't count calories, count the above & protein. if the above are low and protein is high? surprise! it's probably good for you.

and like a large bag of chips, most people don't sit down and eat a whole pint in a sitting.

but you're right. it's about moderation. i generally can't afford treats like that myself, so if i were to get a bag of chips, it's one bag a month that lasts me for anywhere from 2-4 days. having a whole pint, even in one sitting (which i really don't think a lot of people do) once a month or once in a little while isn't going to kill you. as long as you're active, it doesn't really matter.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
it's still not going to harm you unless you do it regularly, hth

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
no tumblr shit would be

uwu all food is good food! you should eat whatever you want all the time, just do what makes you happy. health is a social construct uwu

how the fuck is that even physically possible

i tried once and could barely get halfway through it

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Who immediately assumes that's going to be consumed in one sitting?

That's a hell of a lot more indicative of your own personal shitty habits than it is of OP, or pretty much anyone else.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
people do realize 'a bag of chips' can mean a variety of things, right

there are bags of chips that are huge and there are bags of chips that only have like 20 in them

same with a pint of ice cream really

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
no a pint of ice cream is a precise unit of measurement

whereas a bag of chips can range from the tiny lunch box sized ones with 8 chips in it to the superbowl-sized ones meant for like 10 people

(Anonymous) 2015-07-22 07:05 am (UTC)(link)
lol in what world could a pint mean "a variety of things"?
