¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

da but a pint usually has FOUR SERVINGS in it. so not, it's not healthy. a serving (maybe two) is considered what is "normal" or within the bounds of not being unhealthy.

that being said, sugar, fat, and carbs are much higher than in a serving of most chips. neither are particularly healthy for you and a serving or two of each more than once a week isn't going to kill anyone and isn't necessarily bad for you. i quit both cold turkey because i knew i couldn't stop at one serving.

it's all about limitations. don't count calories, count the above & protein. if the above are low and protein is high? surprise! it's probably good for you.

and like a large bag of chips, most people don't sit down and eat a whole pint in a sitting.

but you're right. it's about moderation. i generally can't afford treats like that myself, so if i were to get a bag of chips, it's one bag a month that lasts me for anywhere from 2-4 days. having a whole pint, even in one sitting (which i really don't think a lot of people do) once a month or once in a little while isn't going to kill you. as long as you're active, it doesn't really matter.
