Can a wanker ever redeem themselves in your eyes? Think Cyn, Stormy, or the Caligo mods from that wank a few days ago. How long would you keep dogpiling them? Are you more a live and let live person?

Generally the only ones lots of people continue to care about are ones that never learn and never stop doing the exact things that got them known as wankers in the first place. Cyn, Stormy, Mike, Tally, the types who don't change.

I've played with a lot of people who have done wanky things once and then learned from their ways. Now if you mentioned their names, no one would even know who they are.

It's pretty easy to get rid of a wanky reputation as long as you don't keep repeating the same behavior over and over again.

i think wankers of that caliber need to stay away from RP for a while, seriously think on the biggest complaints lodged against them, and make a conscious and visible effort to get better

they should start small like on D_M or memes and work their way up to comms

no, but not because i hate them forever for whatever thing they did

the reason i say no, is because the worst people are damn near incapable of changing. the average self-reflective person is not a gigantic drama whore the way some of these people are. everybody gets into a fight or some trouble now and again, but actual "wanker" caliber drama typically comes from people who are emotionally or mentally disturbed in some way, ie, cyn. nothing other than a very long track record of them cleaning up their behavior (legitimately apologizing, showing that they don't do those things anymore, calm periods extending over the course of several years AT LEAST) is going to convince me that they aren't just lying and pretending that they aren't crazy anymore while doing their best to cover their tracks until the next wanksplosion.

idk. i don't care about them. i only give a fuck about two wankers and those two are ones that have done things that have directly impacted me. so unless they do something to me or to someone very close to me, i don't pay any attention to them. if they do something to me though? i hold a hell of a grudge.

I wouldn't really lump the Caligo mods in with Cyn, Stormy, and even Tally. They were wanky, but wanky in a way that's more stupid and immature than completely fucking unhinged.

I was just coming here to say this. They made a lot of terrible decisions and just plain aren't mod material, but from the looks of things they all learned their lesson.
