that sure was quite a few for daredevil, then. willing to bet it was a bunch of people trying to snap up matt's and/or foggy's slot first.

or aou? hasn't been 8 weeks for either canon.

i'm voting for aou. it came out later and i kind of doubt people are jumping all over matt and foggy. more like pietro and wanda.

i find it really telling that this rule's been in place, uncontested since the game opened, and yet suddenly we have two shiny new canons to app from that fall just short of the mark and now it's a problem.

shit, age of ultron isn't even halfway through. but if any of them were from daredevil, i do feel kinda bad for them since it's a lot closer to the cutoff.

tbh with how infrequent app cycles are it should be cut down to 4 weeks, or at least give exceptions for canons that are close enough to the cut-off. daredevil in particular has been out for over a month and it's a netflix series so all the episodes have been available from day one, so it's not like a weekly show.

(not in the game or planning to app btw, just my two cents.)

if you lose motivation to play a character after 8 weeks, it was a terrible character choice and you were trying to fad app

Only 74 reserves so far with almost 100 slots open for apps! Unless we get 25+ reserves in the next two days or have a ton of unreserved apps it looks like it might not be such a scramble to get your app in this time...

97 spots open. i know it's nitpicky, but accuracy is sort of a big thing, especially if people think they have 100 spots and the count stops at 97.

secondly, we had non-reserved apps in last round as well, so there are still people that are pretty sure their char isn't going to get snatched up who might app. i wouldn't rely on reserve data in terms of getting your app in.

That's why I said "almost 100" and not "100", anon.

if you're going to count reserves, count spots open. be specific in all instances or don't be specific at all.

this is an awfully weird thing to get pissy over, anon. I'm sure most people can understand that almost means almost, even if I used a more specific number earlier. i didn't feel like loading the taken page on my phone to count exactly. calm your tits.
