Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Re: Best setting for a non-AU game?
(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 10:04 am (UTC)(link)wow you sound like the most nitpicky person ever, punishing people for adhering to your rules. if you don't like last day posting then cut down how many days there are for posting to ac. what the hell purpose is it to punish people for posting ac within the time frame you give them to post in?
i can see this game going down in a wanksplosion just from the stupidity of the rules and arbitrary way you would punish people for whatever you deemed worth punishing them for.
Re: Best setting for a non-AU game?
(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 10:17 am (UTC)(link)if a mod finds out someone consistently is reminded by friends they'll get an ac strike
this is what gets me like... why does it matter what friends do for each other, wtf, that isn't even your business

(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 10:26 am (UTC)(link)Do you really think someone should be able to pass AC by making a half assed post on the very last day and then never replying back to it when they were inactive for the rest of the month? The game I'm in had someone pull that last month. And there was also someone who had a strike who conveniently posted a hiatus right before AC went up and got to pass on it when they may well have been booted.
Yes, AC rules need to be more strict in games, mostly in a way where a mod can indeed boot someone who technically passes, but is obviously squatting. Truly, the ideal would be to be able to have an active game with no AC because players can be trusted to actually be active and want to play, but thanks to flakes and squatters, that won't ever happen outside of a small invite-only game.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)which is nitpicky as fuck and you don't have the right to police someone on that.
+1

(Anonymous) 2015-05-19 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)if you don't like this imaginary, unformed ac in this nonexistent game then you're welcome to not app to it? since in this imaginary game it would have more strict imaginary app requirements too. i can ramble about them so you can tell me you hate them and wouldn't app and there would be imaginary wank for that too?
it's not something i meant to take over the rest of it but when i got to rambling about what i'd like, that's what i'd like. i'd be happy with whatever direction an action and exploration game that isn't heavy sci-fi and horror would go, whether it have a lot of violence or end up being lighthearted, or even with the option for both. if it's more high fantasy or modern, though i think i'd love for something like that ot start on cluster of islands and slowly expand into an entire world through hunters guilds or something like that. and i do love airships.
