What do we think is gonna happen with this whole dagger plot?

i don't think dagger was the rebel.

from a plotting/writing perspective i kinda wish that they'd made honey a little more subtle so there would be some actual moral quandary/emotional quandary with regards to how the crew feels about her replacing dagger.

as it is the characters really have no reason to trust her and she's been set up as designated villain since her introduction.

not really something terrible or game breaking, just that i wish it was more grey, less black and white.

i'm undecided on honey's story tbh. we don't know much of anything, and i'm assuming she comes off arrogant and bold for a reason.

she wants to get to the top, but is it purely self-interest or just a selfish journey to get the ship for the same reason gliese has the ship??? maybe honey wants revenge too and her personality just happens to be brash and ugly.

unless the mods do make her the generic villain type, i'm going to assume for now that there's more to her reasonings for ship-take over than just "ha ha i want this toy it is mine thanks"

We got her internal monologue though in that post. If she turned out to have a sympathetic cause or sob story after that, it would feel like, idk, cheating? Like a mystery lying about the evidence to the audience.

I'm actually glad that people don't trust her. It's in complete contrast to the other instructors, and now they're openly viewing a self-motivated person without having anything nice about her to cloud that perception. Deep down the instructors are all pretty awful, but people have built more positive relationships and some can look past it.

Im pretty curious about the NPC that hacked through the instructors blackglass.

it looks like shinobu is being set up to be the new dagger

i think she's being set up to be the catalyst for bringing dagger back.

idk about threads but there's things like her id code being changed to dagger's and things like that

Also, the collected ice spires are being monitored by the mods. Now, we all have to wonder just how the plot is supposed to bring Dagger back. Since Honey got a dose of Dagger's ice in her body, do you think Dagger will burst out of Honey like a chest burster?

I pray for this outcome.

maybe they'll merge. keluuvi reproduction aside, dagger seemed to imply that merging or fusing was how his species improved/evolved.
