Ideas so far:

Fairly modern (http://rpanons.dreamwidth.org/565.html?thread=1087797#cmt1087797), to allow use of mobile computers and allow network/social media conversations

Anything here we don't like?

I like smalltown, usa with the variety of homes. A place that's got everything from rich living to poor living, apartments to country homes, private and public schools.

I'm curious how the jobs would work. Would adult characters wake up already having a job? Would it be based on skills or careers the characters had in canon or whatever the player wants or the town needs?

Oooh. The jobs question is a very good one. To make it realistic a good number of adults would need to have some kind of job, yeah.

If mods are up to giving every application a suggestion based on the characters' skills or the town's needs, that would be pretty cool! I'd want the players to have the option to veto if the mod suggestion is one that they really don't like, though....

i think it'd be best if adult characters wake up already having a job! that would make them question their sanity even more, wouldn't it? like when they say "what the hell i'm not a teacher! i can't teach kids", they can be told by npcs or whatever that that's what they've been doing as a profession the whole time.

i think players should have the right to decide what job they think would be best suited (or the most mismatched for the lulz) for their characters!

i think they should wake up already in their careers unless they wake up in a position where they're unemployed and looking for work. that could add a bit more interest and realism, i think.

i like the idea of their careers being based on their skills and then the mods assigning the jobs.
