rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. no

people have been RPing things that aren't RP friendly since the dawn of time, though, and they didn't need your input either. people can make their own stories with pretty much anything.

(possible FNAF2 spoilers below, read on with care)

FNAF is better than a lot of other canons i've seen when it comes to this. remember, the game just shows ooooo spooky night stuff, but in FNAF2 it's been strongly suggested that the animatronics are trying to protect the kids (if you've seen the post-death commodore 64-style games), which hints that they have some form of sentience. they also perform during the day, and like CEC, they probably have scripted daytime songs and skits and stuff, of which the fan community has been filling in the gaps. it's an excuse to get creative and try to weave a narrative from the bits and bobs you've been tossed, which is the basis of 99% of RP anyway.

it'd be entirely possible to go with a theme of 'the animatronics are taking on parts of the personalities the writers/voice actors/programmers have given them' and then focus on fleshing out what those are

so tl;dr there's actually quite a bit that can be done, and it can potentially be very rp friendly

i don't give a shit if you want to play it, i'm not going to hunt you down and anonspam you in memes or museboxes. i never gave that much of a shit

but i mean i have two more hours to kill and some of these responses are pretty volcanically assraged so that's the most interesting thing to talk about
