Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-14 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)I had a long term rp partner who was also an English native but dyslexic, who made certain odd spelling errors pretty regularly - they always typed 'shelves' when they meant 'sleeves', for instance. They were a good writer otherwise - characterwise, vocabulary use, sentence rhythm, emotionally compelling tags in general. I think those are the kinds of things people actually care about when they talk about good writing.
Everyone makes typos, especially in a casual format like DWRP, and I think it only starts to turn people off if it's distractingly frequent - every tag or every few tags, like other anons have said.
You can tell your regular RP partners you are ESL if you want to - especially if you want feedback on things like what preposition/phrasing sounds most natural, because that's a hard thing to learn by rules - but you don't have to. That's something that should mostly be for your benefit.
