I am looking into apping Aizen at Lieutenant-era, as he seems to be somewhat less Just As Planned at this age. I intend to do a canon review of the arc in question.

I am looking for ways to play him as less infallible while still being IC, and possibly interact with others that isn't overwhelming constant arrogance, for maximum RP opportunities. The way he pretends to be a nice guy does work short term, but are there other options that still align well with the character?

the best thing i can suggest for advice is to remember he is an asshole, has always been an asshole and will always be an asshole. the nice guy act has always been an act, he says so right after his primary betrayal. i also recommend ignoring all of tite kubo's bullshit about him just being lonely since it matches to none of his actions at all and can lead to ooc behaviors like friendships

oh yeah and because inevitably someone will come along who might try to "Redeem" him or some shit, keep in mind aizen sosuke has no redeeming traits at all except his ability to bullshit being a different person for over a century and use the stupid fucks who try this for his own ends.

even satan has redeeming traits!
