(Anonymous) 2014-10-26 01:36 am (UTC)(link)i buy supermarket value brand stuff like cereal, pasta, rice, etc. but there are a few exceptions that i only like the taste of in name brand stuff (heinz baked beans, kingsmill bread, walkers crisps). wherever possible i buy value, and i cook most of my meals from scratch so raw ingredients it usually doesn't matter. i only buy brand if, for some reason, i just hate the taste of the value one that much.
bonus: per month usually about £150 average
