Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

that's because mods are acting in an "official" capacity

i get the impression that this is something private and while an explanation would be courteous, it's not really owed

i get that, but jumping right away to 'you must be a toxic wanker bitch and they're doing everyone a favor' seems kind of unfair and judgy to me. if i started up a musebox game and banned someone, i'd give them a reason, whether it was because someone else was uncomfortable around them or i didn't like their playing style or they were too slow/unreliable to bring into a game. it might just be courteous, but maybe it would also give them time to change any issues so they could join a real game or join later.

yeah ia that that's kind of a hasty assumption, especially with so little info. tbh it's likely op didn't do anything and the person running whatever just doesn't think their play style meshes with everyone else's or simply doesn't know them well enough to feel okay with letting them into the game. it doesn't have to be a huge thing, and considering how socially incompetent the average dwrper is, that's why op didn't get an actual reason for it.
