Welcome to Anchor - the one point of constancy in a world in flux.
Your coming was accidental, but not unanticipated - a simple movement between one space and another was enough to trigger your arrival.
The world you have entered is one of constant change, long ago decimated by a weapon that warped the nature of time and dimension. All that remains of this planet's culture is Anchor; a recessed city in the center of a planet-sized swirling desert of displaced energy that remains constant and untouched, unable to be destroyed, maintained by an ancient AI called Command.
Command has not given up on the planet, and Command has been expecting you. With new arrivals comes the slow and difficult process of stabilization, and a hope of regaining all that has been lost...
Influx is a relaxed pan-fandom city and exploration game with a slowly developing long-term plot, set in Anchor. Each month, after periods in which characters will be driven to enact change, to develop, to create, and to follow some of their more basic instincts, the world outside of Anchor will stabilize from a swirling cyclone of sand into a setting from the planet's past, giving characters a chance to leave the city to explore and search for clues on how to fix the galaxy and go home.
Reserves open September 1.
Applications open September 8.
Game opening September 15.
The first event will be in October, and will involve dinosaurs.
