So you had no rebuttal to the most important points, then? As in, the fact that not every character will have an obvious match and what players think are obvious matches might actually not be?

You're getting really upset over what you perceive as mod dishonesty when it would have been so much easier to say "yeah it's random except for your opt outs" in the first place. Why on earth would the mods decide to pretend it's not random when it secretly is when doing so would create way more player anger and drama than just saying it's random? It just seems stupid that you think they'd make this elaborate scheme to cover up their random selection when they'd derive no benefit from it. If they wanted to make it random they would have just said it's random.

Those are not the most important points to me because we're going to keep disagreeing on most if not all of them (which makes a discussion pointless) -- and the only part I will have any chance convincing you of is that I don't mind my monster and am actually looking forward to the first changes.
