does anybody know when they process accepts and rejects? I know it's only been three days since apps closed and the TDM goes till the 31st, but I'd really like a date to mark instead of wondering if I won't get word until middle of September.

Apps are processed after the deadline for revisions has passed and/or all revisions have been turned in. SO you'll probably hear in a few days, since the set time in which for applicants to respond with their revisions is 72 hours

they were really quick about it the first few rounds. the reason it's taking longer this time to hear acceptances/rejections is because they decided to send out all the acceptances at once this time, which means they need to wait for people's revisions to come in first. So it probably shouldn't be too much longer than the 72 hours or so that people have to get their revisions in and judged. I'd definitely be surprised if it took til the middle of september for people to hear back.

why are all the new applicants so dramatic this round

three days is nothing compared to most games

game calendar resets every 9th of the month so you'll likely hear before then? 3 days is nothing tho, most games make you wait a week before you hear back. chill.

i don't really have a horse in this app race, but what are these "most games" you're talking about? every game i've ever apped to has the answer back within 48 hours of closing apps IF that, revisions notwithstanding.

i don't think its totally unreasonable for applicants to wonder when they'll receive a response, though i definitely think its dramatic to ask about 'the middle of september'.

where have you been playing then because every game i apped to had a "wait a week before asking us about your app" note in their rules

but it never got to that point. responses were always available 24-48 hours after the apps closed, unless the mod team consisted of like...two people.
