I actually do own my own house! Mowing the lawn sucks cause I live in the south but let me tell you, it's so, so liberating after living in an apartment.

I rent a house and am looking to buy one when I relocate for grad school within the next year or so. Taking care of a house (even a rental) is kind of intense, but I'm excited!

not a house, but we own an apartment (inherited from my great-grandmother). it's not all that great, the space under the bathtub hasn't been cleaned in 40 years at the least and taxes can be about the same amount as the income.
