Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Korra | Legend of Korra

Not sure what canon point I'm going to take her from yet. I played her once from around the end of season one and am probably going to go later this time, though, so tips on how events have affected her over time or other general things to keep in mind about her personality would be appreciated!

Something to keep in mind is that Late S1/Early S2 Korra is remarkably attached to Mako. Perhaps unhealthily so, considering how things go. To be fair she's a teenage girl who was raised in a compound with zero romantic relationships until she hit Republic City, but it makes up a good chunk of her character until after she finds about how thing started. If you're considering playing her from before that, it's definitely worth noting. (/insert rant on forced romance and love triangles in media that no one has time for)

Also she mellows out considerably from the end of S1 to the end of S3. She's still a charger and planning is forever more Tenzin's schtick, but it's worth noting that she's more willing to hang back and think than she was earlier. Compare her dealings with Amon to her dealings with Zaheer and you'll see what I mean.

That's all that comes to mind because so much of Korra's character is hinged on her canon point, moreso than characters from longer running shows, and it's hard to pin her down without a more specific one. I hope it helps anyway, anon!
