my eyes glazed over after the first two paragraphs but starting with IT'S A SICK JOKE!!!! got me laughing so hard. if only the rest of it was like that.

anime news network reviews are always hilarious tbh. their review of mirai nikki acts as if a show not believing in the inherent good of humanity is a technical fuck-up and not, y'know, the point

like i think mirai nikki is shit but the fact that it's nihilistic is not inherently a bad thing unless youre five years old or an actual disney princess

tbf it is kind of indicative of the tryhardness of the whole show.
