The shitty life advice brigade
Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Re: SYNODIPORIA
(Anonymous) 2014-05-24 03:48 am (UTC)(link)1. the pace seems really fast, particularly for a prose-heavy game. i'm still tagging the first mingle!
2. the amount of information for this eight-week jaunt is just massive. i've seen whole games set up with less world-building than this single event.
however as long as people are cool with handwaving, #1 doesn't necessarily need to be a problem, you can just choose to thread out what you think you'll enjoy the most.
as for #2 it's just a matter of sitting down and reading everything. i'm with you, i'd like to find a quick summary somewhere, but on the other hand i can't complain about a game's setting information being too rich.
i'm sure matt would be happy to clarify anything confusing or offer suggestions, he seems really helpful and chill.
