Is the plot to this game engaging? I was looking at the npc list and reading the premise and it doesn't seem particularly serious or multilayered.

Not saying that's a bad thing, but I don't want to app into a game expecting one thing and getting another thing entirely. What would you say the tone is?

At the moment, the game is still in a transitional period. It's only been a little under two months since the mod team switch. Things will probably get back on track soon, especially with the new app round coming up... tomorrow, I think?

I can't give you a real tone at the moment since like the above anon said, things are in a transition period. Prior to the mod changeover, it was basically bad things are happening, react to it.This month has been sort of relaxed, with a more player dependent plot, presumably while the mods find their footing.

I'd say wait and see this round if you're not sure about things, and see where the game is by next month's app round.

I think about a month is acceptable given what went down. If it continues through next month, then I'd agree it's going on too long.

I'm willing to make my own fun (and you have to admit, evil doubles make that easy as long as you're willing to tag out or plot), especially considering one of the mods has been having some serious real life crises.

so i'm pretty sure the first and second archetype events are the kuchisake-onna and la llorona, and the fourth might be the hook hand guy from that one story about the car door or whatever

no idea about the third though, any guesses

I am plagued by keys that sometimes don't work when I hit them. My bad, anon.

This hotel event is cool but in a game of this size I don't care for these false illusions of character choice or influence on the events.

Let's review our choices here:
1. A mere handful of characters decide they want to free the people in the hotel and doom everyone to die pretty much
2. Literally every single person outside of the hotel comes together to agree that they'll just let everyone inside die

I mean does anyone think that scenario #2 has any chance at all of happening?

I wish it would, but yeah, I really doubt that's going to happen.
