It definitely wasn't a self-drop. I just thought their interactions were funny because I think of Reiner as hard gay after Shinji's baby ass, but now I feel bad for directing negative attention on them.

I don't know Shinji's canon tbh.

because some people can write really competent apps, and then proceed to throw it all out the window the instant they get in for the sake of doing whatever the fuck they want

the reiner is also a massive flake so have fun with them getting bored with you which they inevitably will whenever the next shiny object approaches their line of sight

though tbf that applies to half this game so they're not exactly alone there

i always wondered why apps didn't require a mandatory 1 minute clip or page or whatever of a character speaking so mods could at least have somewhat of an idea of what they actually sound like
