What the heckie?

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

it was really hard at first, but then my dad had me talk to a lawyer and she let me know that i could ask my bosses to accommodate my condition

if it's like starbucks though it really sucks, especially because of the babies... shitty diapers are bad too

people who get migraines so easily have no place in the workforce.

do you know how hard it is to prove you need disability for migraines? so they shouldn't work, but they shouldn't be a leech on the system? you know, I really hate trolls like you. stop trying to deviate actual discussions with your 'hurr hurr look at me' bullshit.

(Anonymous) 2014-03-10 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
someone missed the point.

i was pointing out that migraine anon had agreed with someone else who said farting coworker )(who probably has IBS) should be fired for her condition but someone could easily say the same thing about migraine anon. it's a slippery slope.

read the whole thread before commenting next time.

migraine anon didn't say that though. she said that maybe farting co-worker should try to work from home. maybe you should be the one reading through the actual thread before you start trying to be witty with your comebacks.

disabilities and how they affect the workplace is a complex discussion that shouldn't really be left up to anons who likely half of don't know what work is.

i said they agreed with someone who said the coworker had no place in the work force not that they actually said it but that's still a pretty dickish thing to agree with. if they only meant the woman should look into working from home i have no idea why they +1'd such a shitty trollish comment.

sorry, but my condition takes precedence over your opinion. :)

it also clearly takes precedence over your logic.

how about you work from home where you can accommodate yourself?

people with gastrointestinal problems have just as much right to work as your snowflake ass does

except someone with migraines doesn't affect anyone else.

someone with constant noxious farts stinks up the entire office and can bother other people. there's kind of a big difference.

you're kidding, right? migraines can knock people out or make them unable to work for HOURS, meaning the burden of their workload can be given to others. not to mention if they're doing something delicate or like, driving, and they get a migraine that blinds them... you're SOL if you're in the car/on the road with them. or they can be made nauseous and throw up on you/near you.

in the workplace, migraines can very much affect other people.

I can't believe so many people fell for this troll.

a sufficiently effective troll is indistinguishable from statements/opinions made in earnest
