(Anonymous) 2014-02-28 09:24 am (UTC)(link)it really, really depends on the character, for me, and how much bullshit they veil themselves in, and how conflicted their ideals and behavior are. i don't feel like 1200 words were too many for the first character (who is super-conflicted and has very distinct lines between what he says and what he does), or that 600 (a few dozen of which were straight-up quotes) were too few for a character that one only has two or three short encounters with in a 10+ hour game.
