Octavia's partners in crime are as great as she is (Alan and Walter). I also love Danny, L, Blaine and Ivy Curry. Eri is my favorite newbie in a long time, as well.

out of people that i have threaded with that i don't have close cr with and aren't the people i usually find on these threads but i found enjoyable:

john smith/the doctor was really surprising to me; their tags are really short and terse and i honestly thought they were an ecats that wandered into the wrong game but i was pleasantly surprised by how nicely characterized they are. i'd probably have to hand in a thread three times longer than my others to use them as an activity check, but i think they are of some notable quality. i'm also really impressed by how long they will backtag.

ymir is also good on a backtagging front, and i always find her attitude engaging, whether it's humorous or serious. their writing skill is very good and i always keep meaning to hit them up for more cr because of how interesting they make ymir. definitely a solid person to tag with for the long term. i am fairly sure they play one of the hetalias too? i'm pretty sure her name's siiri or something? either way, they're a very solid character to play with as well.

gabriel/glorfindel is another surprise; i find them extremely fun and clever and very easy to bounce ideas off of. another skillful writer, i wouldn't mind tagging them again.

i'm really surprised that airdra doesn't get more love on this meme except for arthur; i find torin of all characters very easy to thread with, and she's put a lot of love in characterizing and fleshing out what an intelligent parrot has to deal with. i hope we have that parrot around for a long time.

oh, and shout out to jin aznable. GO TAG THIS CHARACTER, HE IS AMAZING AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW FUNNY AND WONDERFUL THEY ARE. again, speaking as someone who doesn't have close cr with them and hasn't threaded with them more than once. :D

Doesn't anyone have any favorites that AREN'T the same characters always dropped? If we don't then what's the point of having a favorites thread every single time when it's just the same people over and over?

I have no idea whether this actually makes sense, but it seems like the characters who always get namedropped are the silly ones. It's easy having fun with them just by watching. You don't necessarily have to have in-depth CR or be plotting with them.

Like an anon said a couple of posts ago, it looks like plenty of us just get the rest of our gushing out about the characters/CR/threads we're enjoying directly to the players.

That said, my favorites are Karl and Nick TBH.

Yeah I've noticed it's the ridiculous characters which makes me feel better about never being dropped haha. I'm just curious why people keep making a favorites thread if it's always just Octavia, Danny, Arthur, etc. that get namedropped. Seems kind of silly.

I could be mis-remembering but I think Chris mentioned it as a problem because her house was kind of blown up and it was a bad time of year for that to happen?
