rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. ...wait what. Is that seriously what's causing such a huge delay? Voice clips? Tiny little English voice clips?

I'm guessing when they try to insert in English clips, the game gets bugged and makes it impossible to play?

If that's the case, would it be possible for them to release a translated patch that keeps the Japanese text while releasing an English patch at a later date?

I don't know, I opted not to follow the project too closely so that I could be more patient while waiting.

But still, whether it's about getting them or putting them into the game or getting them to work in the game it's about tiny little voice clips. To me months of delay over something like that just feels ridiculous. I get where they are coming from with the "play the game as it was meant to be" thing, but the voice clips in Ace Attorney don't really matter all that much. I probably wouldn't notice a thing if they just used the Japanese clips.
