I'm the anon from a few posts back who made the Jason Stryker (X2) account. Still haven't figured out how to play him without going into levels of godmode RP has never yet seen, considering he can only communicate in mindscapes of his own creation.

But I've got the account for PSLs with a whole lot of planning behind them, so maybe one day.

He always seemed to me like the unholy combination of Joffrey Baratheon and Glados...and the challenges of playing either. Which reason is it for you anon, being funny or being evil?

The being funny part. A good chuck of what makes him funny is crossing the line twice and that's a very tiny target to aim for.

It's also the IC repercussions of him being a douche bag. He's got no robot army to back him in a jamjar setting and he will ultimately piss off everyone.

also the last time i wanted to play it in a game i was told i had to choose to give it all male or all female sexual organs, which is pretty much bullshit

He would be tough to play, but not because of his physiology. Byerly is another one who could be fun.

it was a "everyone is human" game but apparently bel's junk was not human enough, so, still bullshit.

(and since it is scifi and they ain't supposed to be actual intersexed people, you can call the betan herms herms or hermaphrodites. it's maybe not the best word bujold could have used, but... eh, it's canon.)

i love bujold too! and by is an awesome character, i adore him to bits. i want to be the fly on the wall when lady alys is debriefing him. :D (lady alys is also awesome. possibly even more awesome than bel or by. <3 )

Dude, stick to cross-canon. Or pick an antisocial Batvillain, so it'd be ic for yours to ignore the others. Not all of the Batvillains are besties.

literally 0 clue how to write his speech

mr. grey from 青盲, for three reasons

1. untranslated canon
2. he's the type of character who would only work in certain settings, since his role in the show was to root out spies and undercover agents. in a normal game setting, he wouldn't be able to do much and would probably just be the generic slightly sinister-looking man of few words, and that's both boring AND an affront to his character.
3. he's too intelligent for me to pull off properly

I really, really like the character, but her back story seems like it's going to get more complicated and I'm afraid of mucking up a detail that seems minor now but could be major later.
