Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Technically the game has required activity. You can contact the mods about an inactive player and they'll look into it, I imagine requesting the activity they require for apping a second character. Has anyone actually gone this route? Because I'd be fine playing in a game with no specific AC if there were still consequences for blatantly squatting.

since at least a quarter, if not half of the playerbase is inactive, it's more of a problem than just going to the mods about it. the mods are going to have to decide what kind of game they want. if they want it to stay stagnant like this, they'll have to stay with the no ac, but if they want any sort of actual activity, ac will boost it up a little. it won't be perfect and there'll still be flakes and cliques and squatters, but it'll oust the really bad ones and leave a little less wiggle room for people to put the game off for too long.

if it was one or two people, or even a small handful, going to the mods would be a viable option. it's way more than that. i sort of dare someone to go through the comms and find the completed/ongoing thread to dropped thread ratio. go see who's ignoring some comments for others or just dropping threads and starting up new things. if the percentage is more than 5, there's a problem.
