which had so much promise before it decided to turn a party wipe into a super dramatic midseason episode, started the following episode with everybody logging back in going "wow, we suck," and brutally reminded everyone that the worst consequence the characters could experience was needing to use a phoenix down

the music was badass though. only good thing about the anime tbh

.hack//sign's music was bafflingly good. like, i'd stare and go, why are you so good, music

it had some nice atmosphere, too. just...don't ask me to explain anything that happened, because i have no idea

play the goddamn game

the games were grindingly repetitive and full of filler but there was something oddly compelling about them. never did finish the fourth though.

if you're talking about .hack//sign, i think you missed the point of the series. also yes, the music is fucking amazing. thank u based yuki kajira.

if you're talking about .hack//lott, i'm pretty sure the world at large realizes that that anime was a piece of shit.

It's Nothing Fucking Happens: The Anime. I like a good slow-paced show, but Witch Hunter Robin was incredibly slow and with very minimal payoff.
