which had so much promise before it decided to turn a party wipe into a super dramatic midseason episode, started the following episode with everybody logging back in going "wow, we suck," and brutally reminded everyone that the worst consequence the characters could experience was needing to use a phoenix down

the music was badass though. only good thing about the anime tbh

It's Nothing Fucking Happens: The Anime. I like a good slow-paced show, but Witch Hunter Robin was incredibly slow and with very minimal payoff.

those aren't bad, they're just depressingly mediocre shows that are created to sell lots and lots of merchandise to fangirls. at least for the most part they aren't outright offensive.

i've watched many because i have a special place in my heart for truly bad shows but

dragonaut -the resonance- is the worst one i've ever seen

and i watched the whole thing... because i care about some of the characters for some terrible reason...

Oreimo is one of my two primary examples of anime that had a great premise but utterly failed to deliver (the other is Sword Art Online). I tried to get through the second season for all the other characters, but once I learned the ending I just... couldn't anymore.

I wouldn't call Fruits Basket the worst, but wow did that anime make some baffling choices w/regards to the adaptation
