What 'mons do you play, anon? I actually have a couple of muses-- Guilmon, Tailmon, Culumon, and I used to dabble in Agumon and V-mon back in the day. Would love to bounce off of some other Digis, be it musebox, meme, or wherever.

Well I have this dork and he's the only one I brought to DW [though he's v experimental I'm still not entirely sure what I want to do with him]

I've played Wizardmon and Veemon mainly, plus a Gigadramon that kind of consists of my own applied personality since he had very brief appearances in canon, though I've always wanted to get a chance to try Piximon, Centarumon or Leomon. I actually have a bunch of Piximon screencaps and manga scans I've wanted to make into icons.

I like really weird Digis.

If you wanted to take a shot at KyoAni you picked literally the worst series to do it with, since Free! actually has a plot, clear continuity between episodes, and characters with obvious goals and arcs.

Next time do yourself a favor and just go for Lucky Star or K-On! if you wanna make fun of KyoAni, since those are actually slice of life shows with no plot.

In the meantime, give Darker Than Black a shot.

yeah it had a predictable plot that was relevant to about half the episodes. but most of the characters were barely even fleshed out.

the point of kyoani originals is that there is no point. though the others are kind of skeptical, free is just meant to be guilt free fun. nothing overly special about it

anyway it would help if you gave a more specific description of what you're looking for than "no sol/plotless garbage" because pretty much any anime can fit into one of those two categories if you squint hard enough
