if you're going to have a game be truly panfandom, get over yourselves when it comes to multiple characters, fan characters, OCs, and AUs. Just allow everything and judge things based on quality. DWRP needs to stop being so damn allergic to OCs, AUs, and fan characters; it's not the fucking 90s anymore.

I'm not saying EVERY game should be like that, it's just something I'd like to see. Have a game where there's 500 of the main character of the newest fad canon. Whatever.

Agreeing on the whole "allow change" thing, regardless of what that change is. Let characters go home and actually alter their homeworlds (Distant Skies allowed this, and it was excellent. Shame about the mods). Let them alter the world in huge, tangible ways. Allow real, permanent alteration. Allow the villains to actually succeed every once in a while with their horrible takeover schemes; Sauron isn't interesting after all UNLESS he returns and builds his army. If he's stopped before he starts it's stupid.

I've never had calamari salad, only fried calamari, dried squid, and squid in seafood stews.

when it's not dried, it has a pleasantly firm consistency. I wouldn't say it was rubbery, though. have you ever had rice cakes? the texture is kind of like that, only not quite as chewy and it's firmer when you first bite into it.

the taste is pretty light and subtle. it's... savory, I guess? most of the times, in fried calamari and stew, it's more about the texture than the taste, because of the seasoning largely overpowering the calamari. it's very smooth in its outer texture.

i can't honestly say that calamari tastes to me like anything other than calamari. maybe octopus? but the octopus I've had has always been considerably tougher. that and the suckers are kind of crunchy.

I think it's fine to tag out, but it's also nice to put up the occasional post. Some people are uncomfortable contacting strangers OOC. They might want to develop CR but can't because a) the above and b) you don't tag their characters.

Be very careful that you spread it around if this is all you do. I've seen more than one person only tag one or two other RPers characters in an entire game. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about people not tagging your post. Sounds like you've already established CR. My theory as another LCW lover is if you tag them, they will come.

As I recall, Tally started crying that we were gonna use it to make fun of certain players and ban OCs everywhere. It eventually died due to lack of use.
