wasn't their something like a comm for all current mods to get together and talk about things/get advice, in the works at one point?

speaking as a mod i am one hundred percent sure that would be a catastrophe. it sounds like a right laugh though.

i don't know but i would enjoy the fuck out of that.

are we talking something that only the mods involved would be able to see, or like a spectator sport mod throw down for everybody to watch and commentate on while the mods desperately attempt to preserve their games' positive image, because if it's the latter then i'm in

As I recall, Tally started crying that we were gonna use it to make fun of certain players and ban OCs everywhere. It eventually died due to lack of use.

I remember that! All the mods got interested, some code and advice got swapped around, and then some player started whining about how mods would use this to talk shit about players and ban them from games before shit really started. And then other mods got paranoid that players would be making up games, just so see the community.

It was all a big mess.

It was set up by him, but he made almost everyone a mod for some stupid reason. I don't think that many people knew or cared that he set it up, since he didn't contribute much other than that. It was everyone else who did things like the code posts and such.

Ultimately, I think it fell apart because there wasn't a real direction for it other than "Hey, we're all game mods. Let's do stuff."

Looking at it now, it's been deleted. I wonder why?
