i used to rp on aim and in MUCKs/MUDs as well as IRC. finished logs got posted on comms. having that kind of dedicated time was fantastic, and people actually followed through on their commitments because everyone understood how important time was. i was like eight timezones away from everyone else and i still got so much shit done because we all valued each other's time too much to waste it farting around doing other shit (play videya/read comics/whatever) when we'd specifically agreed 'we're gonna be logging dis shit from [time] to [time]'.

not that chat rp was a bastion of how rp should be, but in a well-organized game (the one i was in had an application process etc) it was great, and until now i've kept the friends i had from eight years ago because the level of communication was that great. i'd be hard-pressed to think of people in dwrp i'd be attached to eight years from now.

i forgot where i was going with this. anyway, i'm a fan of rp not being an obligation, and i think people should be able to do what they want with their free time. i just find the dwrp model really clumsy.

I've never even thought that people might find this strange, anon! I do something similar, but I play the character from a different universe. And it's mostly ship-teasing, not actual ships (they've never gotten together/have yet to get together when I play them.)

I just get excited, I guess! No one ever plays these characters, so I like tagging them. It just so happens that it ends up shippy, and I get really happy when it ends up that way!

If I ever bring my character up high enough in level to get their powers back. Yeah. They'd be able to do things like that. The musical accompaniment would just be an add on though and not really part of the actual control.

Or if you prefer the other way around, there have been plenty of events already that have turned people into fawns or any other similar creature.

i used to be friends with someone who was once on the art team! back when mspachan was a thing and homestuck was still relatively small, everyone was REALLY AGGRESSIVE about posting porn because all the characters were thirteen. she started posting a bunch of porn and people got over it because she was the first to break the mold and everybody on mspachan already liked her, but back then it was all very much just aged up kids having normal sex. when the trolls came around they still just had normal human dicks because she did a lot of drawing for them too

so i'm thinking you must have started the tentabulge because when homestuck porn started it was all relatively normal and i didn't see that exact change. there was this one girl who had a mailing list for her gore porn because she didn't want to post it publically, though, maybe you're her

I'm not going to deny that it's got all to do with marketing, but Wii Fit is also the third best-selling console game of all time. She's from something that sells a lot, it's not that random that she'd be put in.
