I'm not going to deny that it's got all to do with marketing, but Wii Fit is also the third best-selling console game of all time. She's from something that sells a lot, it's not that random that she'd be put in.

Don't get me wrong, I think she's going to be totally fun and looks interesting as hell to play but she's still a character no one was expecting or requested or anticipated. Just look at literally every other sub-thread in this thread for wanted female characters; Kumatora, Tetra, Midna, Eirika, Lucina, Dixie Kong, Krystal, Palutena, Medusa, Captain Syrup, etc. Do you know anyone who was sitting here thinking, "gosh I hope they put that nameless Wii Fit trainer lady in the next Smash Bros"?

If you want to run with those kinds of justifications why not throw in some goofy nameless Mii too into Smash Bros while we're at it since Mii Sports is the most popular selling game of all time.

(I really don't want Nintendo to do that. They could do so much better.)
