rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. i've actually had the most fun in rp when i was playing a character i like from a canon i hate! my only problem was that the castmates i had would always talk about how much they enjoyed the canon and i couldn't really contribute to the conversations. so, my suggestion is to try lone wolfing it if you can, or at least avoid your castmates oocly if you get any.

the canon i played from isn't really problematic or skeevy tho. even if it was i wouldn't give a shit because it absolutely does not matter at all. if you avoided canons because they did something someone didn't like you'd never play from anything, ever.

yeah, this canon (and even more so, its fandom) tends to romanticize rape and child molestation. every castmate i've encountered has been terrible.

if it's something like that you need to weigh up how much fun you could have with this character against how much awkward shame you would feel from playing from that canon at all. if you don't care and still want to play him, then just throw him on memes and let people tag you (though i wouldn't seek people out to tag them first) or take him to some place like CoA
