That is exactly how I play her, anon. Although I do use male pronouns in actions tags to help remind that my Sheik's physical sex is male.

Apparently that's still too much of an AU for most Zelda fans nowadays, though.

it's the "physical sex = gender!" crowd that needs to fucking stop. smh for people who say a feminine princess can't possibly be a badass ninja too

and smh for people who say Sheik can't possibly have a dick because because Sheik is Zelda.

I swear, within the Zelda fandom it's like it can only be one or the other. (Zelda is somehow wearing a princess dress under a skin tight ninja suit and no magic is involved whatsoever, OR Sheik is an entirely different character with his own mind and personality because wow how could they possibly be the same person?)

I would love to play Sheik this way at a game someplace but I'm sure I'd be wanked on so hard by either ardent faction that it would ruin it. Sigh.

Zelda changed her skin color and eye color via magic, so her changing her clothes and even her sex via magic just makes sense if you want to assume she changed her sex too. Honestly, I was always bugged by the "her body's too masculine!" shit since many athletic women (Olympians especially) have that same body type. Treating Sheik as a different person entirely rustles the fuck out of my Jimmies too.

Playing Zelda/Sheik's gender as female regardless of her physical sex changing sounds interesting, nonny, especially since you seem like you'd go about it in a way that's respectful to trans* people.

So you have my axe!
