But is it really a hit if all that activity was really just a small group of people who only played with each other? Yes, there are less posts, and not as many that get huge comment counts, but that was all being artificially created. It really just masked the rest of the game. So improvements probably need to be made, but we're not actually worse off without those people.

I've asked for a few unused-looking usernames before. One time I got ignored, and another time someone very kindly said no because they planned on using it, and the other (two, maybe three) times the person was happy to give it to me. No one's ever been rude to me about a request.

Beastly Roses is a panfandom, fairy-tale game based in the ruined land of Loria. As characters begin to explore the land, they will find there is far more to this story than meets the eye. The forest is full of coffins, and the coffins are full of bodies. The dwarves won’t answer any questions, and nearby villagers only mumble something about queens and curses and – foxes? – before scurrying away. Your presence here will decide the fate of this kingdom, whether balance is regained, or if everything falls back into chaos.

Which is all very exciting, except for one thing – how do you get home again?
