Where I live, kids learn knitting at school but I never did anything complicated. I wish I'd learnt more back then. Haven't tried it for years now.

I think the playerbase in general would be totally down for that. I think the Starscream player is going in this direction, though she's said that Starscream wouldn't so much work against the Numbers as work for himself entirely.

We need more PC villains, really.

ugh i've been sitting on these tags for almost a week and a half now because i can't come up with a good, engaging response. everything i write comes out flat as fuck.

at this point i'm half tempted to just bang up something not awful and hit submit just so the damn thread can roll along again. but good goddamn my tags are SO BORING.

Usually I give it a week to think up something more engaging, but after that I prioritize just getting SOMETHING written if I really value the thread.

Who knows, you could just be overly critical of yourself right now and what you're writing could be fine.

All else fails, just talk to whoever your threading with? they may have some ideas on a different direction to go that may be more interesting.

A purl stitch is just a knit stitch facing the other way, anon. It feels a little weird at first, but you're really not doing anything very different. Agreeing with the anon above, try watching some videos if you're stuck.

The great thing about knitting is that it isn't very complicated. It's really just one basic stitch and then everything else is just about how you manipulate that one stitch.

if by "good plot" you mean "pile of confusing pseudo-philosophical bullshit." eva is incredibly overrated.

Martha and Mickey, the only two black people, ending up together in the end out of nowhere, despite Martha being previously engaged to a white dude. I'm actually glad Doctor/Martha wasn't a thing. Oh, let's not forget that Martha was overshadowed and used as a vehicle for Ten/Rose and that's pretty much all she was.

But seriously. What the fuck with Mickey/Martha out of nowhere. She was fucking engaged. We don't even know what happened there, just. Get to the end of Ten's run and she's paired with the only other black guy on the show? How am I not supposed to take that as racist?

that's good to hear! and we really do, i think it'd be pretty interesting/fun to have people 'in' on the reincarnation stuff to be actively working against the majority of the game. because there's not enough danger as is, right? haha.
