I'm mildly shopping around for a game for One from Drakengard 3. There isn't a set date for when the game will come out in North America or Europe at present but spoilers abound if you want them. I'm intending on apping her from just after the tutorial fight prologue until then so I won't spoil much at all for others. Plus frankly it'll be a good place to play her from.

* Community preferred.
* Slow to medium pace. (5-7 posts a day is more medium for me).
* No crack or slice of life games please.

A new game was being sold at close of 50€ here (not sure if it's still that amount or if it has changed), I got a second hand copy for 20€ in perfect state at a chain store named GAME.

I still wasted 50€ but I used the other 30€ to buy the DLC content so as a whole I consider it a great purchase.

so i'm at v2 b3 ch6 (is there a standard way to denote this idk) right now and there's something i don't understand. didn't it say that tholomyes only left fantine in 1817? then how is it cosette is 8 in 1823, meaning she'd have been born in 1815?

Distant Worlds did this, it was based off of His Dark Materials though.

I have a fellow atoning for his sins kind of guy that could learn a thing or two from Regal's maturity. Unfortunately, he's from a really obscure canon and it would kind of give me away.

Set it in some real world city, but one with an interesting atmosphere and unique presence. So less Bismark, North Dakota, and more London.

I'd also shift the focus away from the one week game and more into the overarching metaplot. Like have the point of it be less one week game and more some sort of political struggle between the Conductor and the Composer, the Reapers and the Angels, or something bigger, with the city their gameboard. Maybe make it faction based, like...the top Reapers got all slaughtered for some unknown to the players reason, and so now everyone's scrambling to reach the top.

And you could play around with things a bit, like have certain Reapers reach out to talented humans who would thrive and basically offer them a deal: if they die, the Reaper will manipulate things so that they will be entered in the game, and if they survive they can become a Reaper, achieve immortality, and basically help this person rise to the top. Stuff like that. Games are every other month, maybe, because due to the intense decimation of the Reaper ranks they desperately need more live bodies, and how else are they going to get them...?

It's not straight up canon, but like Fate/, I think doing a straight up rendition of the plot will always fail.

Oh yeah, you could definitely tell in the intro that he was totally different! I just haven't been keeping up with my comics at all for months, I got distracted by new installments in my other home fandoms for awhile.

An AU Pokemon game that's just plain old adventure/slice of life. Characters can visit all regions by ship and can be trainers, breeders, coordinators, etc. Maybe there'd be one of those evil Team organizations to stir things up but mainly I just want to play my character traveling and bonding with their pokemon.

I considered joining r_29 a while ago but the non-AU is a dealbreaker for me.

How are the potentials looking this round? Anyone you're enjoying in particular?

I'm pretty fond of the preboot version of Batman & Robin. The New 52 version isn't bad. Red Robin, if you like Tim. And all of the Batgirl runs are pretty okay, but Stephanie's was my favourite. Batman Beyond is pretty great, it's one of the only current comics I would call good.

Oh, and if you like Jason Todd, Red Hood: The Lost Days seems to be pretty popular.

And then of course Lil Gotham!
