rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

this doesn't sound like depression to me, anon. usually depressed people do not have the energy to go on tirades like this. it's typically less I'M OFFENDED AND IT'S YOUR FAULT THESE THINGS HAPPENED!! and more "i don't matter i should just die everything is terrible". there is definitely something serious going on but i'd be willing to bet money it's not depression or at least depression is not the main problem.

my sister has depression and it goes both ways with her (or did, before she started using meds). she would switch between being too depressed to get out of bed and being a bitter, angry, hateful bitch who blamed everyone else for her problems and lashed out at people physically and verbally.

ymmv but that's my experience.

i've definitely been a shithead and lashed out at people during a depressed phase so i know it's not always that way but from the sound of it anon's sister is ALWAYS lashing out. i know it's not 100% foolproof but with meds and therapy there should be at least a small improvement instead of getting worse. it just sounds more complicated than depression alone to me.
