rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.

Not necessarily. When you are speaking of someone famous people seem to forget that they didn't know the person personally and what people truly are mourning is the fact that whatever the famous person did for the world would not be able to be done again by them. Nelson Mandela was a great man who did a lot of things in his life, but I never knew the man personally to be able to mourn the man himself and feel that should be left to family, friends and people who actually knew him.

Now that would be different if the people who post this kind of stuff were actually friends with the deceased, but that is rather rare.
