rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

If she's threatening suicide over useless shit, then take her claims seriously and put her in a professional's hands.

Especially since even with a therapist and anti-depressants she seems to keep getting worse. If nothing else, it might show her that suicide is something serious and not a magic trump card she can use to get what she wants and shut down confrontations with.

and if she IS serious, then she's clearly a danger to herself at this point and definitely needs to be in the care of professionals. she's an adult, but this behavior demonstrates that she's not operating in a capacity to take care of herself, and there's no reason not to take this 100% seriously even if she's being manipulative. because even that is a sign of something fairly fucked up and it's unhealthy for everyone to allow her to continue holding her family in psychological bondage.
