The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I can't stop trying to win back the kindness and attention of an old RP partner who hurt my feelings. We used to have great times together and I miss it. Yet I have doubts even after they apologized that we will ever RP together and have fun together again. How do I stop thinking about this? How do I stop missing them?

I'm in the same position, anon and tbh you're just going to have to move on depending on how badly they hurt you. Take some time away from your usual haunts and you'll realise life goes on and you have fun with other people too.

You're right. I likely could use some space for my own good. If I could get this trouble out of my head for some time it sure would help. It's really hard not to think of better times isn't it?

I would like to approach it that way. It's a little more complicated than that because we make contact outside of roleplay. I thought at an earlier point that we would no longer have contact unless they decided they wanted to RP together again but then they said they still wanted to be in contact. That lead to where things stand now.
