The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i have a dilemma. i want to roleplay from a canon i realllllly dislike, but the fans who play from it usually love it to pieces and there are casts everywhere.

do you think it would be possible to play in a game and just not talk to my canonmates OOC unless it's about plotting shit? i don't want to ruin everyone's fun by saying this canon sucks, and i don't want to hear about how great they think it is either.

i like one of the characters! he was flawed, but he had great potential. the writers dropped the ball with him and i think i could make him grow a little more realistically in a better environment, that's all.

I avoid the hell out of people OOC and have never had a problem.

it shouldn't be a big deal, just say you don't have plurk and can plot in the ooc comm/through pm.

Why would it be a problem? Plenty of people don't interact with their castmates OOC.

I personally don't unless it's on a plotting matter.
