depends on where you are in your cycle. there's a time after your period's over when your senses are heightened for a few days or so. there's also the fact that some girls just have a stronger odor in their cleaning fluids than others. if there's no nasty funky smelling discharge or discoloration in it or itchy/burning, it's just how your body naturally is.

i actually did and that's what she said i had. she gave me some antibiotics that gave me horrible shits and it worked the first time but when i got a refill since she said it'd probably pop up again it didn't work.

i struggled with b.v for a really long time, and antibiotics didn't do anything for me either

i eventually discovered this was because i was. erm. washing too intimately? with soap. due to the unpleasant and or strong smell, i tried to get it EXTRA CLEAN!!! ...which was silly of me, because it resulted in chronic, untreatable b.v. mine may have been worse than even yours because it was often sort of uncomfortable and i had some tenderness.

so, honestly, though it sounds counter intuitive, it's best to sort of just wash the outer folds with soap and then rinse everything else thoroughly with only water. my vag has been extremely well behaved for about 7+ months now with absolutely no abnormal odor strength or smell.

a musky, almost animal smell is normal. your vag area is full of moist, mucous membranes that make pheromones and sweat, and you're probably not getting a whole lot of ventilation down there. as long as the smell isn't fishy or bready and you're not itching or oozing nasty gunk, you probably don't have to worry about infections. some people are just unusually aware of their own body odors.

your underwear and pants may also be intensifying that vag smell. i've found that certain types of fabric make my cooch smell funky, even twenty minutes after a shower. stick to cotton panties.

I find not wearing any underwear when you're asleep helps with keeping the smell to a minimum too

yesss definitely. also wash your pj/regular pants regularly to keep any funksmell off of them. dirty clothes can contribute to sort of strong odor.

a really strong sweaty odor doesn't generally indicate anything other than "guess I need another shower", right?
