All hail the glow cloud

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

expecting your castmates/cr to opt out of the event because you don't want to deal with pregnancies seems a little much. just ask them not to mention it to you in any posts or make an ooc post stating that you want to opt out of the event completely. ask your castmates/cr who might want to participate in the event not to mention it/play it out with you.

oh i wouldn't want them to opt out! that's why i was worried in the first place, since i wouldn't want to come off as a killjoy for people who are excited for this. which is why i was asking how easy it is to opt out of responding to events; i've played in games where people have gotten called out for things like that.

No one cares if you opt out.

you won't have any trouble opting out

that's good to hear, thanks!

in that case, it's easy enough to opt out. the game's nature is kinks. it's the kind of place that communication is key. all you have to say is 'this event is not my thing/this kink is not my kink' and no one will have a problem with it, promise. i've opted out of one or two myself and never had any repercussions. no one's keeping track of how many events you play in or how active you are in them. it's a candy store. pick the flavors you want most and leave the ones you don't.
