a hell of a lot is speculation, but any input based on what we know about her up to the most recent chapters would be great

I'm going to preface this by saying I haven't thought terribly hard about Annie's character until now, but I'll still give this a go and you can take it or leave it!

But I think probably the biggest thing to remember about Annie is that she keeps a distance from pretty much everyone around her. And I'd say it's because of her father telling her, "~~the truth is out there~~ trust no one." (I don't remember if this is exactly what he said, but I think that's the gist of it.) So therefore Annie is the type of person who doesn't trust people easily (if at all), doesn't get attached, and just goes about her day trying to get whatever she wants done (whatever her plans may be. However, I get the feeling that even though she tries not to get close to people, she still does sort of have a soft spot for some of her fellow trainees. This is just my opinion, though, so I may be completely out in left field. XD

Of course, this isn't to say she won't talk to anyone. She's not a great team-player, but she does interact with the others (they just might need to get her attention first because she isn't really the type to volunteer to be social) and she seems to be well-enough liked by everyone else. She may not be popular like Reiner or the darling like Christa, but I don't recall anyone really disliking her in their training days.

Again, this is all off the top of my head, so I can't promise everything is accurate, but I hope this is at least a helpful starting point for you. And good luck with everything!
