Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

As someone who is phobic around birth/pregnancy to the point where I have fits, yeah, I think you're a real piece of work. I'd probably drop a game if I had to constantly look at pregnant posts for 3 months. makes me sick just thinking about it, and I can definitely understand the other anon's worries.

as someone who's in the game, you wouldn't be looking at pregnancy posts for 3 months. the pregnancies will last for 3 ooc months, which is 2 weeks ic. not everyone is playing out pregnancies. not everyone wants to. all log posts are given warnings and put behind cuts. this won't stop people who are idiots from posting things on the network, but i'm hoping that people have learned what is and isn't appropriate to post without a cut.

i'm sorry if that's a phobic issue for you, but you have to understand that it's not for everyone and an entire game can't cater to one/a few people. the onus of putting warnings and cuts on their posts are on them, but the onus of not reading it is on you. i'm not a fan of pregnancy kinks either, but i'm just going to scroll past what i don't want to see and play with what i do. just like everyone else.

And it's not that hard to contact someone and say, "hey mind putting that behind a cut?" Almost everyone in Ariel is easy as anything to talk to and I can't think of anyone who would have an issue with a PM asking either.

I'd probably drop a game if I had to look at three months of scat or three months of fisting, but I don't have to. All log posts in Ariel are cut and have appropriate warnings, and if you have issues with the mere existence of people talking about pregnancy in the network community, you're not temperamentally suited for a game like Ariel that is always going to have triggers.
